We Create November Blog Hop

It's the time of year when we start thinking about the holidays and getting excited to give to others. I actually made this box for a good friend who has been having some health issues and filled it with inspirational quotes, but I think it would be a great Christmas gift too. You could fill it with quotes, compliments, coupons, journal or personal history starters, or a small gift of jewelry, candy, etc. This box is made from one sheet of cardstock and the flower is made using the blossom punch. I spritz it with water, crinkle it, shape it, then glue the layers together with a hot glue gun.

Colors: Basic Black, Pacific Point
Accessories: Blossom punch, Polka dot embossing folder, Modern Medley DSP, 2 1/2" circle punch, Typeset alphabet bigz die

Fall Fun Blog Hop

Stamp Set: Magnificent Maple, Petite Pairs
Colors: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Thinlit Circle Card Die, Sweater Weather DSP

I just LOVE the new thinlit flip card dies. You can make fun, interactive cards in seconds! I used the rock-n-roll technique on the leaf for a fun fall look. I used a 4 1/4 X 7 piece of CS to get a horizontal card with the die instead of vertical.
